June 2016 – New York City – Travel Photography Blog
We are full swing in wedding season here at Coleman shots and loving every minute of it, but I’d like to take a minute to share a non-wedding related photography story.
Our close friend Zach Gray asked for some help with his workshop in New York for Adorama a while ago and of course we dropped what we had going on the Outer Banks and headed up NYC. During the workshop, Zach focused on teaching how to make good light in horribly lit situations. We helped grip the off camera lighting while going through the city. Since we were working the workshop we were not able to shoot so we planned a second trip back up to the city. We hired the same model from Zach’s shoot and took her around NYC. We even almost got kicked out of Central Park by the park rangers towards the end of the day. It was a great trip and a great session.
We can’t wait to get back to shoot more!
As always we had a great time hanging out and shooting with my friend Ryan Moser. We love traveling, whether to the Canon expo with some friends, shooting a model, or hanging out and learning from Zach Gray. Here are some pictures from our New York City photography trips hope you enjoy.
